Why Consider Chin Implants?

Chin Implant Procedure
The procedure begins with one of our doctors making a small incision behind the lower lip in order to create a pocket over the chin. The implant is inserted into the pocket, placed in the desired position and the incision is then closed and the implant is stabilized with a compression bandage. Some numbness and swelling is expected to occur following the procedure, and any discomfort from this procedure is easily managed with over-the-counter pain medication and cold compresses. All strenuous activity should be avoided during recovery time, which is typically 7-10 days.
